Unified Disclaimer 

The performance shown is simulated/modelled and does not represent actual client outcomes. The model and/or its configuration dates are operational and may not correspond to when any client invested. Where performance is shown prior to the model’s configuration or deployment date, such figures represent backtested results based on underlying instrument data and are not an actual track record. Simulated/modelled performance differs from realised client outcomes due to factors such as implementation timing, cashflows, platform processes, fees, taxes, and other variables. Results must not be interpreted as “performance since inception” or as evidence of actual investment performance. 

(This wording satisfies all the compliance expectations highlighted in RE: PMX| Disclaimers… and aligns with further comments from UK and SA reviewers in related tasks (e.g., NOT comparing backtested data directly to a real fund, clearly labelling modelled data). 

 

If you want separate disclaimers per scenario 

1) Partner chooses to backdate performance (change deployment date) 

The performance shown includes backtested results prior to the model’s configuration or deployment date. These figures are simulated/modelled and do not represent actual client outcomes. Backtested results are hypothetical and based on historical data of the underlying instruments. They do not reflect actual investment decisions, timing, or client circumstances and must not be interpreted as “performance since inception.” 

2) Partner uses performance data from the deployment date (no backdating) 

The performance shown is simulated/modelled from the deployment date of the model. The deployment date is operational and does not reflect when any client invested. Simulated/modelled performance does not represent actual client outcomes and may differ materially from realised results. 

3) Partner chooses a mix (some backdated, some from deployment date) 

The performance shown consists of both backtested (prior to configuration/deployment) and simulated/modelled (from deployment onward) results. All performance is hypothetical and does not represent actual client outcomes. Dates used are operational and not indicative of real client investment timelines. These results must not be interpreted as an actual track record.
