Johannesburg Team Padel Equipment: Booking Process and Guidelines
Learn how to book and use the Johannesburg team's padel equipment, including booking procedures, collection and return requirements, equipment care guidelines, and user responsibilities.
There are four new padel rackets and two carrier bags that have been purchased for the Johannesburg team. These are available for use when hosting clients and partners, as well as for internal team padel games.
When not in use, all equipment will be stored in the Coven storeroom.

Equipment Booking Process
1. Book Before Use
Before taking any equipment, record your booking in the register. Please include:
- Your name
- Purpose of use
- Date required
- Collection and return times
- Number of rackets and/or bags required
2. Check Availability
Review the booking register for existing reservations before confirming your booking.
In cases where bookings overlap, client and partner hosting activities should be given reasonable priority. Otherwise, confirmed bookings should be honoured in the order they were made.
3. Collect Equipment from the Coven Storeroom
All equipment must be collected from and returned to the Coven storeroom.
4. Sign Equipment Out
When collecting the equipment, complete the following information in the register:
- Sign-out date and time
- Equipment condition at collection
- Your initials
Once the equipment has been signed out, you are responsible for its safekeeping until it has been returned and signed back in.
Equipment Usage Guidelines
Company Property
The rackets and carrier bags are company assets intended for approved client and partner hosting activities, as well as internal team use. They may not be lent to third parties or used for unrelated personal purposes without prior approval.
Take Reasonable Care
Please help keep the equipment in good condition by:
- Transporting and storing rackets in the carrier bags
- Keeping equipment clean and dry
- Avoiding unnecessary impact, throwing, scraping, or other misuse
Return Equipment on Time
Equipment must be returned by the agreed date and time to avoid impacting subsequent bookings.
Sign Equipment Back In
Upon return, complete the following details in the register:
- Sign-in date and time
- Condition on return
- Your initials
Any loss, damage, or missing items must be documented in the register and reported immediately.
Responsibility for Loss or Damage
The individual who signs the equipment out is responsible for its safekeeping while it is in their possession. Any equipment that is lost or damaged during that period may need to be replaced by the responsible individual, subject to applicable company policies.
Leave It Ready for the Next User
Please ensure that all rackets and bags are:
- Returned together
- Clean and dry
- Neatly stored in the Coven storeroom
